F3: ‘Tis the Week Before Christmas
Christmas is only one week away, and what a busy week it will be for most of us. Lots of last minute shopping for presents and making sure we have all the ingredients on hand for a delicious Christmas dinner. Some of us will either be making arrangements to travel for the holidays or making up the spare room for relatives that will be visiting with us. There is always so much we need to do to get ready for that special day, but what about Santa and his helpers?
Santa has to make a list and check it twice, and make sure the reindeer are all up for the long ride on Christmas Eve night, but what about the Elves? What are their responsibilities during crunch time? When you see pictures of Santa’s helpers, they’re all singing and smiling as they work hard building and painting toys. But is this time of year all fun and games for them? How are their duties assigned? Are there supervisor Elves and Elves who work the line? Do they have to punch in and out? Hmmm…
This week, you’re going to become one of Santa’s Elves at the North Pole who keeps a journal/diary. The format is your own personal choice, but spare us nothing. Let us know what really goes on behind the scenes.
Prompt: Share with us the journal/diary entries of one of Santa’s Elves during the week before Christmas up to, and including, Christmas Eve.
