This Sunday is Valentine’s Day. It is also known as Saint Valentine’s Day or as the Feast of Saint Valentine. It is observed on February 14th of each year. People exchange cards, candy, gifts and/or flowers with their special ‘valentine’. It is a day to express friendship, confirm true love, or reveal a crush. Valentine’s Day events can bring about a turning point in a relationship and bring people even closer. It’s a holiday that’s celebrated in so many different ways. This week, let’s take a look at some of the ways folks observe this special day.

Prompt: Write a story that takes place on Valentine’s Day, and include the following words in your story: Love, Candy, Forever, Secret, and Surprise

Word Count: 1,500 or less
