The prompt this week was to open the book we were currently reading, and begin our story with the first sentence of the fifth paragraph on Page 40.

Let’s find out what our writers are reading, and check out where their starter sentence takes us.

  1. Rose Green opened ‘A Wizard of Earthsea’ by Ursula K Le Guin and the story she’s shared with us is called Dragon
  2. Joyce Juzwik opened ‘Brimstone’ by Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child, and the story she’s offered us is called Paid In Full

Don’t forget to leave your comments on our writers’ blogs/websites. We really appreciate hearing from you.
