Sunday, May 8th, is Mother’s Day. Are we going to ask you to write a sweet little story about a mom and her famous apple pie? Absolutely not! A crime has been committed, you have been asked to investigate, and we want you to include a mom in your story. The mom can be your detective, your victim, your perp, whatever. We don’t judge.

Let us tag along while your PI searches for clues. Your detective can be an amateur or a licensed pro.

Prompt: Write a detective story. One of your main characters must be a mother.

Genre: Detective Fiction

Word Count: 1,500 or less

Deadline: Thursday, May 12, 2016

Post your story on your blog or website and provide a link to it in the comment section of this prompt.
