Prompt by Joyce Juzwik

A relationship can be tricky, whether it has been going on for a long time, or has only just begun. Your character is involved in one that’s going nowhere fast, and wants to be free to move on in another direction. He/she feels sending a letter might not make their position clear enough, and decides a face-to-face chat would be best.

Will this break be neat, clean and painless or complicated, nasty and dangerous? Totally up to you.

Prompt: Write a story about ending a relationship using dialogue only

Genre: Romance

Word Count: 1,500 or less

Deadline: Thursday, September 22, 2016

Post your story on your blog or website and provide a link to it in the comment section of this prompt.
