F3, Week 60: What Do You See?

Prompt by Joyce Juzwik

If three people witness an event, when they’re asked to detail what they’ve seen, there will be something different about each of their stories. While there will be some similarities overall, each will have directed their focus to a different aspect of the occurrence. The same would be true if those three people were shown identical photos or paintings.

This week, we want to know what you see. Look at the painting to the left, and write your story. What you focus on is totally up to you. Your story can be about the painting itself, it can be about the subject, or perhaps the voice in your story will be that of the artist.

Look carefully, and then tell us what you see.

Prompt: Use the painting as inspiration for your story

Genre: Paranormal

Word Count: 1,500 or less

Deadline: October 20, 2016

Post your story on your blog or website and provide a link to it in the comment section of this prompt.
